“…In the performance of Russian Company Dialogue Dance Hair the images are presented with light set and sharp mimicry. Two men who passionately desire the hair of each other. Pushkin’s golden fish became a dry vobla, which is submersed in water with a request for the desire to come true. The story goes on, as the absurd humor does.”

“…Dark haired dance in the beam of a projector turns a fan in his hands, turning it on from time to time; the dancer with a shaved head is not moving, stooping in half-darkness. Then come fifteen minutes variations on the topic of suffering about the absent hair; quite clown-like (with putting vobla in a glass jar and staring at the glass- either a production of a potion or expectation of live water effect: perhaps the fish will start to swim?). Hair are hair, an important matter, but in short contacts, fast going lifts there is a simple sign: it is not about a bald head and a head with hair, it is about mutual understanding, about building of a relationship in general. It is not by accident that one dancer puts on a beautiful wig and starts to dry it demonstratively with a fan, the second one is doomed and sits down to cut his hair off- every couple should have a balance.”
